Sarah West
Director of Campaigns and Communications

Sarah joined Hospice UK from Plan International UK where she was Interim Director of Communications, Campaigns and UK Programmes.
Sarah joined Plan as Head of Communications in May 2016 and took up the role as Interim Director in April 2018. Prior to this Sarah was Director of Communications at the World Cancer Research Fund and before then she worked at the International HIV/AIDS Alliance for four years.
She has held senior communications, campaigns and PR roles in a range of other organisations, raising awareness and campaigning on issues such as disability, environment, health, international development and peacebuilding.
Sarah has also worked for PR agency Morgan Allen Moore, in the political affairs department at the Turkish Embassy in London and lectured at Imperial College London on science and communications.
Imogen Thomas
Campaign Manager

Originally hailing from an arts background, Imogen spent five years working in digital content, marketing and communications at Unicef UK before heading up the Greenwich+Docklands International Festival's marketing. With experience of public health campaigning and mobilising networks at all levels, Imogen brings a creative and socially conscious lens to content and communications.
In between planning and running campaigns, Imogen can generally be found in a variety of south London parks chasing after her one-year-old daughter.

Stephanie Owens
Brand, Communications and Marketing Officer
Stephanie has a long background of working in communications for healthcare charities. She studied linguistics, multimedia communications and cognitive neuroscience at Canterbury, Madrid, Birkbeck and Helsinki respectively.
She feels strongly about helping those at the end of their lives and helping raise awareness about the importance of talking about death and dying, and championing diversity and inclusivity.
