Grief may trigger heart attacks, new research finds

Big news story today about heart attack risk being 21 times greater within the first day of a close bereavement, and six times higher than normal within the first week. The study of nearly 2,000 people revealed that intense grief actually puts extra strain on the heart. Have you had experience, directly or indirectly, of this?
