Join us for a vibrant celebration of Life & Death in our family friendly arts festival based on the Mexican traditions of Dia De Los Muertos.

There will be loads of free activities throughout the day including:


  • Arts & crafts workshops
  • Storytelling
  • Arts exibitions
  • Face Painting
  • Death cafe
  • Musical entertainment by Los Soneros and
  • Musical statues Skelvis and Grisella


Look out for Mandinga Arts grand carnival parade of extravagant puppets, glamorous Catrina's, cheeky skeletons and infectious Mexican music. Join the procession and come dressed as the Mexican artists Frida Kahlo, or opt to become a colourful skeleton inspired by the films Coco and the Book of Life - Our face painters will be waiting to transform you with beautiful sugar skull  designs.

Prizes will be awarded for the best costumes.

The day will be a chance to celebrate life, remember those that have died and an opportunity to think about our own end of of life wishes.
