For the second year the Leeds Dying Matters Partnership will be holding a drop event during Dying Matters week on Tuesday 9th May.  The event will kick off at 10:30am with a New Orleans Style Jazz Band processing around Millennium Square outside the museum.
The event will include stalls, talks, activities, films and a death cafe. A range of council, NHS, hospice, voluntary sector and private sector organisations will be on hand to give advice on end of life care, hospice services, will writing, family history, and much more.
Our aim is get to people in Leeds feeling more comfortable about talking about death and dying.
The museum will be easy to find, just look for the Eco hearse parked outside.
Everyone is welcome to join us for this event, and whilst you are at the museum there will be the opportunity to see the fabulous Dying Matters Exhibition in the Story Gallery, (see the separate listing to find out more about this).
