Identifying Priorities and Building Resilience for Carers in End of Life Care

Keech Hospice, Luton

The National Council for Palliative Care are holding an interactive event to discuss priorities for carers who are currently caring for someone with a life-limiting condition or at end of life.
The event will:
  • Help identify the most important issues for current carers
  • Help to design some supportive mechanisms/tools around resilience for carers
  • Hear from former carers about their experiences
  • Form recommendations for future carers
Speakers include:
  • Jen Kenward, Experience of Care Lead, Community, Primary & Integrated Care, NHS England
  • Gemima Fitzgerald, Director of Thrive Clinical Psychology and Resilience Consultancy
  • Former carers who will share their personal experiences to help inform those who can influence change
