I am contacting you from Brisbane, Australia, regarding the Fulham Cemetery in London, England. There is an American Civil War soldier buried there, Joseph John, whose son Author John at 102 years of age is still alive in Victoria, Australia. As Commander of the William Kenyon Australian Confederates Camp 2160, of the Sons of Confederate Veterans in the United States, I am trying desperately to contact someone regarding the cemetery.
As I understand it the veteran, Joseph John, was buried without a grave marker, and I would like to acquire a bronze memorial plaque for his grave site before his son dies and have the cemetery there place it on his grave at NO COST to anyone.
If you can assist me by putting me in touch with the cemetery personnel it would be most appreciated.
