Sharing your stories

We appreciate that it may a daunting prospect to speak to a stranger about these issues. However, your stories can act as invaluable support for others. Hearing about your experiences can help people realise they are not alone in what they are going through.

When you send us your story, we will ask you to fill in a form before it is posted online. By submitting this form you will be consenting to the story being used on our website.
All stories are anonymous and no personal details will be disclosed unless you give direct permission. We will also remove any details (such as place names) that might indicate where the story came from.

Dying Matters may want to use your story in any media work we do to promote greater openness around death and dying. We will contact you before approaching any media outlet, and would only ever pursue media opportunities in line with your wishes.
