The Big Conversation: Awareness Week 2016 resources

To support Dying Matters Awareness Week 2016, which runs from 9-15 May, we've created two exciting new resources around this year's theme, the Big Conversation.
Our attention-grabbing, bright and bold Big Conversation leaflet and poster feature the powerful strapline "Talking about dying won't make it happen!"
The leaflet explains why talking about dying, death and bereavement is so crucial, and offers tips for initiating and continuing these conversations. It also advises on practical steps that can be taken to put our final wishes in place, as well as how to spread the message through our communities of the importance of discussing what we want at the end of our lives.
The A3-sized Big Conversation poster has a blank space to let you advertise your local Dying Matters events and activities ahead of the week.
As well as our new Awareness Week 2016 resources, we have a wide range of marketing materials, from DVDs to T-shirts, to help you get the message out.

A simple way to show your support for Dying Matters Awareness Week is to change the header on your Twitter account to a Big Conversation one, as Leeds Bereavement have done (pictured below).
