Comment on BBC programme A Time to Live

18 May 2017
Dying Matters has welcomed the BBC Two programme A Time to Live, which told the stories of 12 people living with life-limiting conditions

Simon Chapman, Director of Policy and External Affairs for Dying Matters, said "Talking about our priorities and wishes for the end of our lives is an essential part of life planning, and can help make sure that the things that are important to us and those close to us actually happen. This is not about managing decline, but about making sure we can live as well as possible right until the end of our lives. We can all support each other through dying death and bereavement both by making sure we have the important conversations that are needed and then by giving each other practical help and support”

The programme is available to watch again here.
