We accept membership from individuals or organisation who are committed to raising awareness of dying, death and bereavement, who work within the law and whose aims are not in conflict with the mission of the Dying Matters Coalition. The views and opinions of our members are their own, and are not necessarily endorsed by the coalition itself. Abbey Care Home

Abbey Care Home is a privately owned residential home. We provide care for 20 clients who have Dementia. The home is currently registered to work to achieve Gold Standard Accreditation for excellence in the provision of end of life care.

Aberdeenshire Council

We are a local authority, catering for not only our tenants who reside in the flats but also for the service users who use our specialised dementia day care services. We also have a resource centre which is used locally by a number of groups and organisations.

ABSCo

ABSCo provides support and information for co-ordinating and managing bereavement support services within adult and child hospices and palliative care settings. ABSCo is constituted within the charitable governance of Help the Hospices and aims to: Deliver the highest quality of bereavement support, Raise the profile and priority of bereavement support for those within the hospice, palliative care movement and beyond and Provide guidance to other professional bodies at local and national levels.

Ace of Clubs

We are a day centre working with homeless, vulnerable and isolated members of our community. Many of our members who are in accommodation live alone and have little or no contact with any of their family. We are open Monday to Friday 12 noon to 3pm and see approximately 70+ people every day, always with new clients coming into the centre.

ACHW Trading Ltd

We are a wholly owned subsidiary of Age Concern Herefordshire & Worcestershire and an Appointed Representative of Age UK Enterprises Limited. All commission and profits earned go directly to supporting ACHW activities nationally and locally.

Adam & Greenwood Funeral Home

We are a family-run Funeral Directors based in Essex. Our fully trained and experienced staff take pride in giving the best care, respect and understanding to families at a time of need, which we believe is a hallmark of a well established service. We support local Nursing Homes to enable their residents and families make the informed choices they need during and after their stay. We also have our own woodland Cemetery to provide green funerals or a mixture of traditional and green.

Addenbrooke's Hospital

We support young people aged 13-24 with a cancer diagnosis. We support young people along their care trajectory; through treatment into survivorship and also into palliative, end of life and bereavment care.

Age Concern IoW

Age Concern Isle of Wight is a local, independent, registered charity which has been working on the Island for over 35 years with older people and their carers, to enhance, support and celebrate the lives of people over the age of 50. As the lsland?s leading charity for people who are 50 and over, our team helps around 3000 older people each year through our ten services including Counselling, Advocacy, Information & Advice, Welfare Benefits Service, Befriending, Help at Home.

Age Concern Oxfordshire

Age Concern Oxfordshire is an independent local charity and a member of the Age Concern Federation. Our Mission: to help older people in Oxfordshire, and their carers, make later life a fulfilling and enjoyable experience. We achieve this by working with people to ensure that, as they get older their voices are heard, they are treated with dignity, they have access to services they want and need and that they have opportunities to which they aspire.

ACWD provides practical information and support for bereaved people over the age of 50 within the Wakefield district.

Age UK Herefordshire & Worcestershire

Age UK Herefordshire & Worcestershire have been established for over 20 years, providing support and services to older people, their families, friends and carers. We are able to draw upon a wealth of experience and expertise to ensure older people in Herefordshire & Worcestershire have services and information tailored to suit their needs.

Age UK Sheffield

Mostly working with older people in a variety of services, including a MacMillan funded support service, Supporting People service, mental health advocacy, day centres and general advocacy and information.

Age Uk West Cumbria

Aintree University Hospital

Aintree Specialist Palliative Care Services (Liverpool) is a consultant-lead service. It includes Woodlands Hospice which consists of a 15 bedded inpatient unit, a day therapy facility, outpatient department and a community outreach service. A hospital palliative care support service is based at University Hospital Aintree and has Practice Development Unit status and works towards high standards in areas of clinical care and academic achievement.

Alexandra Hospital, Worcestershire Acute Hospital Trust

Alexandra Hospital is an Acute Hospital within North Worcestershire taking emergency and elective admissions. We are proactively working to reduce admission to hospital for end of life care and working with many colleagues to enable people to make choices.

Amitabha Hospice Service is dedicated to developing and maintaining the highest quality of compassionate care in co-operation with other professional community services.

We are a busy surgical ward which specialises in urology and vascular procedures.

ANA Nursing

ANA Nursing specialises in caring for the elderly, the physically and mentally challenged and those with learning disabilities. We have a dedicated team of carers and nurses who care primarily for the terminally ill. Our nurses are NMC registered and our carers undergo intensive 8 day training with four days supervision in a nursing home. Arden Cancer Network

The Arden Cancer Network has a population of approximately 1 million and is responsible for cancer services within Coventry, Warwickshire, Redditch and Bromsgrove. We have an active User Partnership group and several locality groups who feed into the Partnership group. We are also one of the few Networks to have a dedicated Young Persons User Group.

Arthur Rank Hospice Charity

The Arthur Rank Hospice Charity sits alongside the NHS funded Arthur Rank Hospice. The Charity funds services for around about £700k and is about to increase this annual funding of services by another £500k. The Charity funds day therapy, bereavement counselling, management and support of >250 volunteers, complementary therapy, hospice at home, some education in schools etc

Ashbrook Nursing Home

Ashbrook is a 37 bedded nursing home and part of the Abbey Total Care Group. We care for elderly, frail and cater for total nursing care we have strong links with St Francis Hospice who have always been very supportive.
