Mayfest 2015: Dead Line
Jo Bannon is a UK based artist who makes live art and performance. She has presented work in the UK and Europe including The Southbank Centre, The Barbican, In Between Time Festival, Spill Festival of Performance, Battersea Arts Centre and the National Theatre. She is an In Between Time associate artist and founding member of Residence. Her work is concerned with human exchange and encounter and explores how our physical bodies experience the world around us and how this sensory experience can or cannot be conveyed.
"Dead Line offers us the opportunity to step away from the hustle and bustle of just being and to think about coming to a stop. Strangely this experience is immensely positive and uplifting… a privileged moment I treasure still and I hope you will too." Helen Cole, director In Between Time
"Jo’s work is expertly edited; it is both a joy and a treasure to be given a moment which you may feel is unique to you. To fully know one’s self may be impossible, but Bannon gives us a chance to explore that possibility." ★★★★,Total Theatre
