Dying Matters Awareness Week 8 – 14 May 2017 ‘What can you do?’
Michelle Baskerville and Kevin Chesters from the Douglas Macmillan Hospice’s Advance Care Planning Service will be hosting FREE workshops at the Community Fire Stations in Stoke on Trent and Newcastle during Dying Matters Awareness Week to talk about the benefits of planning for your future and for end of life and sharing preferences and wishes with those who care for you. This will include planning future care and treatment using Advance Statements, Advance Decisions and Lasting Powers of Attorney and planning for end of life by making a will, recording funeral wishes and other considerations like registering for organ or tissue donation. Details of the workshops are as follows
